when Traditions Meet

Traditions Meet brings together talented local musicians and dancers from Traditional Irish, Marching Bands, Ulster Scots and contemporary disciplines in a celebration of the richness and diversity of the musical heritage and culture found in the North West region.
Created as part of the PEACE IV funded CultureFuse programme, the showcase includes original pieces created by Ruth and Sid, and features Highland and Irish dancers who have been choreographed by award winning Highland dancer and choreographer Georgina Kee McCarter. Intended initially as a one off event Traditions Meet have held two successful performances with more events and activity planned for the future. |
